Become a House Volunteer

Our House Volunteers act as an extension of our staff, assisting with daily operations and upkeep of the House. We couldn’t assist the number of families we serve in the way we are able to without this support. We rely on volunteers to help us offer the best experience possible for our guests who are experiencing such a difficult time.

House Volunteer duties include assisting guests with daily needs, giving tours, and helping with cleaning and organization of the House. Those interested in taking on additional responsibilities will have the opportunity to train as a Front Desk Volunteer.

These opportunities are open to individuals aged 18 and older who wish to have a regularly scheduled role in the House. Due to the extent of training involved, we ask that all House Volunteers make a minimum commitment of 6 months. Please note that Hospitality House of Charlotte does not offer court-appointed community service opportunities.
