At Hospitality House, we’re on a mission to provide affordable lodging and a community of support for patients and their families who must come to Charlotte for critical medical care.
Each year, thousands of families travel hours from rural and underserved communities to Charlotte for vital care. Many face an impossible choice: stay with the person they love, leave their family member, or, in some cases, forgo care altogether.
You make it possible for families to choose care and each other. This February, for every $50 you invest, a heart will be planted in our yard, each one symbolizing a night of safe lodging for a family facing medical crisis. With every heart planted, you tell guests that this community sees them and is walking this journey with them.

Join Hospitality House of Charlotte and Novant Health for a Heart-to-Heart lunch-and-learn focused on the transformational factors that shape caregivers and caregiving, including authentic connection, meaningful support, and access to care. Held during National Heart Month, this intimate gathering explores the emotional, relational, and role-based realities that often go unspoken when a loved one becomes a caregiver. We are honored to welcome Dr. Zachary White as our keynote speaker, whose research illuminates how people communicate and manage meaning, navigate uncertainty, and carry caregiving roles into every part of life.
The event is free to attend, but an RSVP is required. Please RSVP by Monday, February 16.
