Anne Shoaf
Executive Director

Anne Shoaf is the executive director of Hospitality House of Charlotte, a position she has held for the last two years. She previously served as the organization’s office manager and program director and currently serves on the Governance Committee for the National Association of Hospital Hospitality Houses.

Anne is a graduate of Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, TN, and North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, with a B.S. in Medical Technology. While her extensive background and employment in healthcare offer a great foundation for her work at Hospitality House, it is her rich volunteer experience and commitment to helping others that brought Anne to her current position at Hospitality House.

Growing up in Japan as a daughter of missionary parents, Anne learned at an early age the value and far-reaching impact of community work. She is an active member at Sardis Presbyterian Church, where she has held many service positions, and currently serves on the governing board. Her passion for helping others carries over into many groups throughout the Charlotte area, including the Girl Scouts, Science Museums of Charlotte, the Mecklenburg County Medical Society Alliance, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, and the Charlotte Symphony.
