  • Kimberly Melton Executive Director Kimberly enjoys the challenges of working at Hospitality House of Charlotte. Her background in marketing, management, hotels and systems and procedures has prepared her for the gratifying work here at HHoC. Kimberly is a native Charlottean (rare in Charlotte.) She lives with her husband and daughter in the university area. She enjoys cooking, working in her garden and dark chocolate.
  • Susan Ross Director of Development Susan has been in the nonprofit sector for more than 17 years. Her expertise ranges from special events coordinator to executive director of a national nonprofit. In 2008 she moved to North Carolina from Ohio and is happy to escape the cold, yet is thrilled to be close to her siblings who live in Charlotte. She resides with her husband, Mike and two children Kaley, and Zachary, in Waxhaw. In her “off time” she enjoys cooking, hiking, travel, wine tasting and like the rest of the staff…Chocolate. Go Buckeyes…Sorry!
  • Angie Bush Business Manager In 2004, Angie, her husband and their 3 kids moved to Charlotte from Cleveland, OH (Go Browns!). All five of them enjoy living in this much more temperate climate. She enjoys hanging out with her family and appreciates good milk chocolate. Angie finds working at HHoC to be more than a job. Each day, she feels a sense of accomplishment in the personal impact she makes on people's lives.
  • Amanda Netsch Manager of Volunteer and Guest Services Amanda moved to Charlotte in 2006 from upstate New York (Go Yankees!) to attend the Hospitality College at Johnson & Wales University. She has settled into the city quite comfortably and is happy she found a home at HHoC. Amanda enjoys being able to start her career helping others in their time of need while, she too, learns what life is all about. When Amanda is not working, she enjoys visiting family in Charleston, SC, spending time with friends, and loves anything chocolate and peanut butter.
  • Sharon Geter House Manager Sharon has one daughter, Portia. They moved to Charlotte from the military town of Norfolk, Va in 1995. She is currently working on her 2nd degree. Her only daughter Portia graduated magna cum laude in 2009 from Winston Salem State University and will be attending Baltimore’s school of law in the fall of 2010. In her spare time, if she has any, she spends it studying,  at the gym, or in cycling & Zumba classes. No CHOCOLATE for her!
  • Dana Plummer Administrative Assistant Dana is a native of St. Louis, MO. She lived in Indianapolis for 16 years before moving to Charlotte in 2003 with her husband, Jeff, and their three daughters. She joined the staff in 2007 and loves the fact that her contribution is making a difference in the lives of others.
