Our Services

Hospitality House of Charlotte’s new home provides more than just a free place to stay for families experiencing a medical crisis. Its close proximity to the area’s largest hospitals – Carolinas Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital – give guests a peace of mind knowing their loved one is nearby. The personal touches, such as homemade meals, furnished rooms and words of encouragement, offer families a sense of comfort and nourishment during a traumatic period. Resident managers and volunteers are on-site at all times to offer emotional support, help with chores and answer questions.

Guests must be referred to the home by hospital representatives, and can be overnight guests or day-use guests. Aside from spending the night, day-use guests have access to everything a night guest would, such as showers, laundry facilities, kitchen, or sitting area for relaxing and taking a break from the hospital waiting rooms.
