Donations come in more ways than just cash gifts
Hospitality House is just like any other house except we run a house can serve up to 50 people on a daily basis. That means that we go though household supplies at a HUGE rate, and something as little as a gift of toliet paper is a BIG deal to us.
Before your "Pack The Pantry" collection event, please call us to confirm our needs. They do change and our capacity for storage fluctuates, so it's best to see what it is we are most in need of at the time of your event.
Below are some ideas of what type of needs we have. That includes paper products like toilet paper, cleaning supplies, food, maintenance supplies. Essentially, anything that you would buy for your own home, we would use at Hospitality House.
Planning the Party
Have some fun, throw us a party! People love themes. Bellow are some suggestions of different types of party themes and the possible donations that go with each party.
Suggestions for the types of parties you can throw for us:
- Paper Party – toilet paper, paper towels, paper napkins, Kleenex tissue, copy paper (8.5x11)
- Cleaning Supplies – Windex, Pine sol, multipurpose cleaner, bathroom cleaner
- Kitchen Supplies – aluminum foil, Zip Lock bags, Saran Wrap
- Linen Party – We need blankets, pillows, white pillow covers, pillow cases
- Bathroom Party – white colored towels, washcloths, hand towels, washable bathmats
- Cereal Party – bring your favorite cereal
- Dinner Party – Bring your favorite meal, like an Italian night with pasta, sauces, meat, salad, & bread.
